We thought Indian Brands but actually not

In an internet age, We have a handful of information on a single click. But in 80's and 90's the source of information was a "printed media" which provides information but on their interest not ours. 

Today we are aware of brands and we have prioritized them  in such a manner they have become a part of the lifestyle and we've assumed them the brand we use shows the  Social status of any person

Here are the few Brands We thought Indian Brands but actually not. 

BATA

Yes, BATA is not an Indian but a Switzerland company. Might be we've assumed BATA as an Indian Company because it sounds similar to TATA which is an Indian company. In early days we have only two brands for footwear one is BATA and other is Paragon

 










Hindustan Unilever Limited

Hindustan Unilever has a wide business of food, beverage, and cosmetics in the Indian market. But its a subsidiary company of London based parent company Unilever.











Nestlé 

From Maggi, Tomato sauce,  Coffe to everything, Nestle has one product in every food and beverage section,  Its a Switzerland company headquarters in Vevey.



lifebuoy

Probably lifebuoy is the only soap we know in our childhood. But sadly its an England based company 


Honda

We all came to know Honda is Japanese company when Hero Honda separated each other. Till then it was a single name for us.

Mr. Reynolds who made the first-ever ballpoint pen in the US back in 1945 and later travelled to India.

The first-ever packed drinking water  Bisleri become very popular among Indians. At First, it was Introduced by Italian company by Signor Felice later bought by parle.
