Credit: space.com

We know Time Travel could not be possible but it excites us when we think about it.

Bollywood and Bhojpuri films left no stone unturned to make Indian Cinema into Garbage.

From 2000 to 2010 this was a period where Bollywood was transforming from classical movies to new age modern life movies. Bollywood was a bit confused about what it can offer to the audience.

From 2010 and continued, Bollywood lost all its creativity and there is a lack of original content. Bollywood started focusing on commercial movies everyone wanted to join 100cr, 200cr and 300cr club. this is a period of REMAKES either from south movies or old movies. It all started with Bollywood Blockbuster Gajni. And south Indian movies were quite ahead of Bollywood in terms of Orignal content and creativity.

But Thanks to Digital Platform and OTTs, Where new talent came into the picture and given new life to Indian Cinema. Now we have very good content in form of Web series and Web Movies on the various digital platforms.

A much-needed kickstart given by Netflix by offering the first Indian web series "Sacred Games"

In Indian cinema, there is a lack of creativity and seriousness in SCI-FI genre but we have a list of 9 Indian movies based on TIME TRAVEL which are Ranked from Worst to Best.

Love story 2050 (2008)

I've personally not watched the movie but after watching  Trailer and decided I cannot waste 3 hours on this movie. Based on reviews I've ranked the worst.

Action Reply (2010)

An extraordinary disaster from Bollywood. Full of Drama and an unsuccessful attempt to make a Time Travel movie.

FuFun2shh... Dudes in the 10th Century(2003)

It's a first attempt from Bollywood to make a movie on Time Travel and it was a disaster. This was a funny movie can we watched once.

Baar Baar Dekho (2016)

If you notice the film, You fell like the director has totally different storytelling from the current movie and wanted to present the film in a very different way but she has been forced to make it a commercial movie.

Yes, its director's Karma that her producer is Dharma. Instead of making this Sci-Fi film, they have made a Drama Film added Unwanted too many songs, Unnessary Bollywood Drama. This Movie doesn't justify the Time Travel concept till the end of the film and leaves one question behind, How did he manage to go in the future and past. Definity we want a Nitya Mehra's cut of  Baar Baar Dekho

Shree (2013)

The first half of the movie is dull and slow but the second half is filled with full of surprises and suspense at the end is astonishing. an honest attempt from the makers is appreciable. No songs and No Bollywood Drama in the movie.

24 (2016)

Tamil movie always surprises us with their good content and 24 is one of them. Its produced and acted by Suriya itself. A super-powerful time watch that can forward and backward time for 24 hours.

You will hold your breath in the second half of the movie and Time Travel is brilliantly presented in the movie.

It's originally a Tamil movie, later dubbed in Hindi as 24 the Time story.

Indru Netru Naalai (2015)

One word review "Superb", It's very difficult to present the Sci-Fi film in a sarcastic way and parallelly justifying logical reason how and why? This Movie gives all answers.  The director and actor have done a very good job and it is complete entertainment.

It's originally a Tamil movie, later dubbed in Hindi as Time Machine.

JL 50(2020)

A digital movie from sonyliv.com has delivered a mind-blowing sci-fi piece of gem. Hats off to the whole team superb acting, Intelligent direction, brilliant screenplay. The makers have understood the seriousness of the sci-fi genre. Its a treat to sci-fi movie lovers.

The only negative is poor VFX and it's understandable our big Bollywood production house does not support the original concept and creativity.

Aditya 369 (1991)

Few people may not agree with my opinion that Aditya 369 rated the best movie in this category. But it's a tribute to the filmmakers that they at least thought and made an honest attempt to make a movie on TIME TRAVEL in 1991. Where others were following a one-line story, hero, heroine, and villain.

This movie deserves to be in the number one position. Because its a first Indian Time Travel Movie.

It's was originally a Telugu movie, parallel dubbed in Tamil and Hindi as Apoorva Sakthi 369 and Mission 369 respectively.
